The South Pacific WWII Museum would not exist without the generosity and belief of the businesses, organisations and individuals who supported the project from the very beginning.
Long before the Museum became Santo’s leading tourism attraction, these early supporters helped provide the seed funding, equipment, expertise and encouragement needed to bring the vision to life.
Their support helped establish the Museum’s operations, fund essential administration and marketing, and lay the foundations for the larger fundraising campaigns that continue today.
We are deeply grateful for their contribution to preserving the wartime history of Espiritu Santo and the South Pacific region.
If you would like to support the Museum project, we would love to hear from you.
‘Navara’ is the Bislama word for a coconut seedling — a fitting symbol for the Museum’s original seed funding program.
In Vanuatu, the coconut palm is one of the country’s most important and versatile resources, supporting communities for generations. The Navara Fund was created with the same long-term vision in mind: helping grow the South Pacific WWII Museum from a small community initiative into a world-class historical and cultural destination.
Support from the Navara Fund helped cover the early operational costs of the Museum project, including the Project Office, visitor services, administration and marketing activities needed to secure long-term funding for the Museum’s development.
The Elwood J Euart Association works closely with Navara supporters to recognise their contribution to the Museum’s growth and future success.
If you or your business would like to become part of the Navara Fund, we would be delighted to hear from you.
